این آهنگ تأثیر ماندگار آسیب و اندوه ناشی از جنگ است، به ویژه با تمرکز بر تجربه پسری فلسطینی از غزه که به کانادا می‌گریزد اما همچنان گرفتار خشونت سرزمین مادری‌اش است. این ترانه مفهوم دلشکستگی را از دریچه دوستی عمیقاً شخصی که بر اثر درگیری مداوم در منطقه از هم گسسته شده، بررسی می‌کند و نشان می‌دهد که چگونه رنج ناشی از جنگ، می‌تواند با انسان در هر نقطه‌ای از جهان، همراه باشد.
